The 62nd International Engineering Fair in Brno starts on Monday, November 8. The main topic is the digitization of industry, which will be highlighted in the special exhibition Digital Factory 2.0. The show thus responds to the significant advent of digital technologies in industrial practice. At the same time, the MSV should also be an important signal for a restart of the economy. Let’s see where we come across well-known companies or even some of the news listed in the title, and not just them.

We will take it in alphabetical order because the companies have organized the iCatalogue of exhibitors in Veletrhy Brno. This year you often won’t find businesses in the usual locations of previous years.

As usual, CAD/CAM software vendors Autodesk are absent from the list of Brno trade fairs, which probably no longer surprises anyone. However, I did not find traditional participants such as AV Engineering, Master CAM, Nexnet, Prima Bilavčík, SimulPlast, Smartplast, Technodat, TD-IS or the TPV Group and on its website, unlike the previous ones, the team de Kovoprog also announced non-participation in MSV 2021 and PEPS. It appears from the list that in pavilion P there is, figuratively speaking, no stone on stone.

Hygiene and safety rules

Hygiene and safety rules will apply to the MSV, which should contribute to the smooth running of the event. It will only be possible to enter the pavilion with a valid certificate of infectivity according to the ONT system (vaccination – past disease – test), respiratory protection according to the rules in force and respect for spacing. However, claiming that vaccination means infectiousness is, according to the latest reports from around the world, quite a stretch. We can expect untested infected asymptomatic vaccinates to spread the infection among other vaccinated and unvaccinated participants who tested negative. Therefore, I positively evaluate the possibility of using the prepared test centers at the entrances to the fairgrounds, where you can buy a self-test for 50 CZK.
